Families on Mission

Fall is a wonderful season for families to enjoy missions discipleship. As the new church year begins and school gets underway, we invite you to download our free resources to learn about and pray for missionaries around the world and discover how your family can share Christ’s love.

Additional At-Home Activities

Missions Moments is designed to encourage parents to teach children the foundation of the Christian faith and missions at home.

  • Active Compassion – Each day we are given opportunities to show compassion to others. Here is a great way for your children to learn about compassion.
  • Following Jesus – This is a great activity for your children to learn how God wants to be our friend and desires for us to know Him.
  • Knowing God – Create a one-week journal with your children as they get to know God through the Bible and prayer.
  • Loving God – How do you love God? The Bible tells us exactly how we are to love God in the Bible. This at-home activity is a great way to learn about loving God as a family.
  • My Purpose – Each person is uniquely made by God, and He created us with a plan and purpose for our lives. Use this activity to show your children how they were created to honor and serve God in his or her own special way.
  • My Part –  Use this paper-link chain activity at home with your children to show that when we all do our part, we are stronger as a group and can tell more people about Jesus.
  • My Time – Use a simple calendar activity to encourage children to spend some time during the week to learn about God, to pray, and to do mission action projects.
