Internships
From the moment I first walked in to WMU I knew that I was loved. My experience interning on the Children’s Resource Team has been incredible. I have grown as a professional and as a person. I was given so many incredible opportunities and was shown a whole other side and application of ministry and education that I never knew was possible. I have walked away a better Christian, woman, professional, and person as a result of my experience. WMU has touched so many lives, including mine – and I was able to play a part in this incredible organization. I will be forever thankful for WMU and my internship.

This internship with WMU has been the best experience of my college years. The work you do has purpose, and the hands-on involvement is infinitely valuable. My leaders assigned me to projects they knew I could do well, but also gave me projects to push me outside of my comfort zone and develop me as a writer and employee. I am walking away from this time with greater experience, greater confidence, and great thankfulness for the opportunities I’ve had through WMU.

My time spent at WMU this summer as a marketing intern was an exceptional opportunity. Being able to gain school credit while also working for a nonprofit organization was the best experience I’ve had while in college. From the internship, I have learned valuable information about social media marketing and advertising, while also becoming more comfortable in a business setting. I feel more prepared than ever before in my future career because of WMU.
