About WMU for Children

Woman's Missionary Union (WMU) wants to help your children learn about and do missions!

The Children’s Resource Team at WMU provides missions resources for children, churches, and families. We focus on children in grades 1 through 6.

Most of our resources feature Southern Baptist missionaries. WMU is an auxiliary to the Southern Baptist Convention.

We produce three missions education curriculum lines: Children in Action (coed), Girls in Action (for girls), and Royal Ambassadors (for boys).

We also create missions books and resources used by many evangelical Christians. Browse our site to see what resources will help your kids change their world for Christ.

Send us your thoughts at children@wmu.org. Sign up for our free e-newsletter. Visit the Children’s Missions group on facebook , and follow @childrenmission on twitter . We look forward to hearing from you!

This weekend, I met Vanessa, a seven-year-old GA from Illinois. She attended a children’s ministry conference with her mom, where I led a discussion about encouraging children to live missional lifestyles.

During the presentation, I challenged those in attendance to look at the WMU objectives or, as I called them, indicators of a missional lifestyle.
