Pure Water, Pure Love
Pure Water, Pure Love (PWPL) has a three-fold mission: to supply missionaries with water filters, to provide the people they serve with wells that offer clean water, and to supply missions teams with water filters for use on short-term missions trips.
Throughout the world, people are at constant risk of contracting a disease or parasites from their water. Many are forced to carry heavy jugs of water for miles just to be sure their families have clean, healthy water. For others, the prospect of clean water is simply non-existent.
With the help of hundreds of churches, PWPL provides thousands of water filters to missionary families and helps fund clean water projects.
You can help!
Through Pure Water, Pure Love grants are provided for water projects around the world. Funds from grants can be used to provide clean water resources for communities who lack access to clean water. This can be in the form of wells, water filters, or a community water filtration system.
Grant applications must be completed by February 1, June 1 or October 1 of each year for consideration. Applicants may only apply for, receive, and benefit from one grant every two calendar years.
Pure Water, Pure Love also provides water filters for short-term mission teams. We ask missions teams who receive PWPL water filters to leave the filters with the local community in which they are serving.

Pure Water, Pure Love: An Overview
This self-guided minicourse provides an overview of the Pure Water, Pure Love ministry and equips leaders with the tools needed to teach training conferences about the ministry.
“I send to you our deepest appreciation for the two water filters and other related items you provided for our West Africa Team this past October. Our appreciation goes much deeper than that, though. Our family benefited from the water filters when we served in West Africa for 16 years. We never had to doubt if our water was clean enough to drink for our two daughters or us because we had either a canister or inline filters from you that purified our unclean water from all parasites, germs, and bacteria that could make a person sick from drinking it. We are eternally grateful God provided for us through you.”—international field personnel
“The water purification systems and well repairs have strengthened communities and brought health and hope to families. Because of a shortage of purified water, families are often forced to drink stagnant water or water dripping from buildings. Infections are common because of the bacteria and pollutants in the water. By providing clean water, you are giving hope and health to children and families in Mexico and Kenya.” —Pure Water, Pure Love grant recipient
“It was so great to have PWPL water bottles for our team so we didn’t have to worry about having clean water. In addition, PWPL provided water filters for us to distribute to homes in the community. These filters will provide opportunity for the pastor to build relationships with families and share the love of Christ.”—volunteer missions team leader
