Missions Journey: Students — Jacksonville, Florida

Corporate Chaplain Lydia Greear visits many busy workplaces in Jacksonville, Florida. She shares how God used her time working in the corporate world, after years as an International Mission Board missionary, to equip her for the work she does now. She was obedient in accepting that job in the corporate world, even when she didn't understand why.

Obeying God is important, even when we don't understand His plan. Lydia explains how 1 Samuel 15:22 exemplifies this lifestyle guidance: It is important to obey God rather than simply go through the motions and just act like a Christian.

In this curriculum unit for students, Lydia explains how God directs her to the people He wants her to minister to. Students will discover that God has “divine appointments” for them, too, and be challenged to recognize when God might want to use them in everyday or unexpected circumstances.
