Spotlight Update: Former Missionary Kid Leah Kennedy

Leah Kennedy’s family is currently retired from full-time service with the International Mission Board (IMB). Her parents served the Lord through IMB faithfully for 25 years both in Brazil and in Germany, and Leah spent her entire life overseas as a missionary kid.

Since then, Leah graduated from William Carey University, and she is currently working as a travel nurse across the United States. She enjoys being an aunt and will soon be getting married. Her call to missions persists in her heart, and she is seeking the Lord’s guidance as she ministers to others through her nursing opportunities.

Leah’s parents currently live in Huntsville, Alabama, where her father, Andy, serves as the pastor of Huntsville Park Baptist Church. After a battle with cancer, her mom, Cindy, is healthy and loving being a grandmother. The Lord has also blessed them with opportunities to return to Brazil on occasion as well. No matter where the Lord leads, the Kennedy family follows Him faithfully!
