International Mission Study
“Where do we get started with missions?” That’s the question we hear from many churches.
That is why we partner with IMB to create our International Mission Study (IMS) that can be used as a one-time missions event at your church or as a mission study for any age of small group.
Every year we work with IMB to choose a topic or location on which to focus for the IMS.
The IMS can be used any time of year or as a part of your church’s focus during the SBC Week of Prayer and Mission Study for International Missions and the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering every December.
IMS: Zambia
Zambia, a beautiful country in Africa, is famous for its unique landscape and the Zambezi River. Lead your church to learn how the gospel is being shared in Zambia.
International Mission Study: Zambia provides resources for every age level in your church to learn about, pray for, and support international missions.
IMS: Zambia Promotion Kit
The IMS: Zambia Promotion Kit will help you plan an International Mission Study experience that will motivate people of all ages to explore ways they can pray for and become involved with missions in the Zambia.
This kit includes an overview of IMS: Zambia, ways to engage all ages in the study, and 4-color posters and flyers to help you promote your churchwide event.

This in-depth guide gives teachers everything they need to lead, including icebreakers, step-by-step planning tips, activity instructions, and worksheets that coordinate with each section of Missions Traveler: Zambia.

Missions Traveler: Zambia
Missions Traveler: Zambia provides an opportunity for adults and students to learn about and pray for missions, along with inspiration to do missions and tell others about Jesus. For use with the IMS: Zambia Adult and Student Teaching Guide.

IMS: Zambia Children's Teaching Guide
The IMS: Zambia Children’s Teaching Guide gives teachers everything they need to lead, including icebreakers, step-by-step planning tips, and activity instructions that coordinate with the IMS: Zambia Children’s Booklet. The IMS: Zambia children’s resources connect children with amazing missions work in a kid-friendly way and are very accessible for both veteran and novice children’s leaders.

The IMS: Zambia Children’s Booklet engages children with games, stories, and activities that go along with the IMS: Zambia Children’s Teaching Guide. The booklet gives children something to take home to share with their families about what they’ve learned.

IMS: Zambia Preschool Teaching Guide
IMS: Zambia Preschool Teaching Guide gives preschool leaders everything they need to lead an age-appropriate, activity-based study of missions work in Zambia. This teaching guide includes missionary information, story, and prayer requests; decorating and bulletin board ideas; supply lists; and activity suggestions.
