Account Types
We offer 2 types of accounts: Personal and Organization. A valid email address is required for both types of accounts.
Personal Account: This type of account is for individuals who are making purchases with their personal credit cards.
Organization Account: This type of account is for those who are ordering on behalf of their organization (e.g., church, SBC association) AND paying with the organization’s credit card.
Tax exempt status is available for ONLY Organization Accounts.
Is an email address required for my church’s account?
Yes. You will be required to provide a valid email address for your account. Email addresses will be used for account log-ins, log-in verification, password resets, recurring order notices, shipping notifications, etc.
Billing, Methods of Payment
How often are recurring product orders billed?
Recurring subscription product orders are billed according to their publication frequency. Quarterly subscriptions will be billed quarterly. Monthly subscriptions will be billed monthly. This allows you to spread your payments out over a year instead of paying in one lump sum.
What methods of payment will you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, AmEx, Discover.
Do you accept Lifeway account numbers for orders?
No.

Shipping Rates
Shipping charges for subscription and product orders are calculated using live rates, which may vary depending on destination, size, and weight of your order.
A handling fee of $1.25 is included. Shipping and handling fees do not apply to digital orders.
Expedited shipping options are available, but same-day rush orders may be subject to a rush order fee.

USPS Ground Advantage: Allow 2 or 5 business days
USPS Priority: Allow 1 to 3 business days
UPS Ground: Allow 1 to 6 business days
UPS Second Day Air: Allow 2 business days
UPS Next Day Air: Allow 1 business day

Tax Collection & Exemption
In accordance with applicable state and local laws, WMU is required to charge sales tax in certain localities. As a general rule, it is the laws of the state of delivery that determine whether sales tax will be due on your transaction.
WMU does not collect sales or use tax in all states. Even if we do not collect sales tax from you, you may owe sales or use tax on your purchase unless it is specifically exempt from taxation. Your purchase is not exempt merely because it is made over the internet or by other remote means. Many states require purchasers to file a sales/use tax return at the end of the year, reporting all of the taxable purchases that were not taxed, and to pay the tax on those purchases. Details of how to report these taxes may be found at the websites of your respective taxing jurisdictions.
For our tax-exempt customers, WMU does not collect sales tax if we have your exemption certificate on file. The tax exemption certificate will remain on file, unless the church/organization is incorporated in a state where tax exemption certificates expire. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to indicate that the purchaser's church/organization is tax exempt and to ensure that a current tax exemption certificate remains on file with national WMU.
Return Policy
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item within 30 days of the purchase date for an exchange or refund (excluding shipping and handling charges).
To qualify, the item must be:

Please note:
Dated magazines, kits, and all digital downloads are not eligible for return or refund.
Clearance items are non-refundable, but may be exchanged only if damaged upon arrival.
Please refer to the return instructions found on the back of your packing slip.
Return Shipping:
• We do not accept C.O.D. returns; all return shipping must be prepaid.
• For your protection, we recommend using insured mail, UPS, or another insured carrier when sending your return.
Accessing Digital Products and Subscriptions
An online account is required to access digital assets.
Digital Subscriptions Ending with August 2025 Monthlies and June/July/August Quarterlies
During this transition to our new system, we will use the email address you have on file with us to send you information on accessing the remaining issues on your digital subscriptions.
New Purchases on the New wmu.com
Digital products and digital add-ons to print products can be accessed from your online account.
NOTE: Digital recurring subscription orders and digital add-ons to print recurring subscription orders will be available in your online account beginning with the Fall/September 2025 issues.
Steps for Accessing Your Digital Files after Purchase
1. Log in to your account if not already logged in.
2. From the account dropdown menu, click My Digital Assets.
3. On the Your Digital Assets page, your files are organized by order number. For each order, you will see the products in that order and any digital files associated with a given product.
Discounts & Promotions
We are pleased to offer discounts and promotions. Only one promotion code may be used per order; a promotion code may not be combined with any other discounts or offers.
If you have a promotion code, please enter it at checkout or mention the code to a customer service representative if placing your order by phone.

Items on clearance will continue to be available at clearance prices until quantities are depleted. Please note items purchased on clearance are not refundable, but may be exchanged if the item arrived damaged with an available item of equal or lesser value.
