CWJC/CMJC: Job Readiness

Christian Women’s Job Corps is Celebrating 20 Years!

“I thought it would be like every other program – a waste of time.  But, this program would change my life forever.” -CWJC Participant

Christian Women’s Job Corps and Christian Men's Job Corps seek to equip women and men, in a Christian context, for life and employment. Through 195 registered and certified CWJC/CMJC sites across the nation, thousands of women and men each year gain self-confidence, purpose, direction, and hope for their future. CWJC/CMJC offers life skills, job skills, mentoring, and Bible study.

Is God calling you to volunteer at a site using your skills to impact the lives of men and women? Here are some of the ways CWJC/CMJC sites are impacting lives:

  • High school equivalency diploma preparation
  • English as a second language classes
  • Computer classes
  • Bible study
  • Mentoring
  • Job readiness skills

We hope you'll prayerfully consider how God might be calling you to be involved in this transformational ministry. What can you do?

  • Pray CWJC/CMJC will continue to help men and women have hope for a better future, and for CWJC/CMJC participants to know and understand the love of Jesus Christ.
  • Volunteer at a CWJC/CMJC in your community.
  • Collaborate with your church leaders and see if you could work together with others in the community to begin site if there's not one already established in your area.
  • Support this ministry through the WMU Foundation.
