Free Resources for You and Your Church

As committed Christ followers, we can use our influence to make a positive impact on the Kingdom during this crisis. Christ will do the miraculous in our midst if we allow Him to use us for His glory. Here are some great resources for you at home or your church to distribute to its members.

Resources for Families on Mission

Missions Moments for Families

Missions Moments is designed to encourage parents to teach children the foundation of the Christian faith and missions at home. We will be releasing one activity a week.

  • Active Compassion - Each day we are given opportunities to show compassion to others. Here is a great way for your children to learn about compassion.
  • Following Jesus - This is a great activity for your children to learn how God wants to be our friend and desires for us to know Him.
  • Knowing God - Create a one-week journal with your children as they get to know God through the Bible and prayer.
  • Loving God - How do you love God? The Bible tells us exactly how we are to love God in the Bible. This at-home activity is a great way to learn about loving God as a family.
  • My Purpose - Each person is uniquely made by God, and He created us with a plan and purpose for our lives. Use this activity to show your children how they were created to honor and serve God in his or her own special way.
  • My Part -  Use this paper-link chain activity at home with your children to show that when we all do our part, we are stronger as a group and can tell more people about Jesus.
  • My TimeUse a simple calendar activity to encourage children to spend some time during the week to learn about God, to pray, and to do mission action projects.

BLUME IS POSTPONED UNTIL 2021

The WMU Executive Board voted on March 25 to postpone Blume, a missions event for girls scheduled July 8-11, 2020 at Germantown Baptist Church in Tennessee until the summer of 2021.

“As someone who has participated in this event as a youth and young adult and then took my daughter, I am saddened,” said Sandy Wisdom-Martin, executive director of national WMU. “However, based on the uncertainties of the ongoing global pandemic crisis, this is a necessity. The health, safety, and welfare of those entrusted to our care is of the highest priority. We commit to pouring our efforts and energies into making Blume in 2021 a significant missional gathering where God can speak to the hearts of all who gather.”

Updates on Blume in 2021 will be posted as available on blumeforgirls.com.
