Spotlight Update: David Carey in Maine

The Spotlight Update gives a quick look at what missions personnel have been up to since they were first interviewed for our missions discipleship resources. For full feature stories, subscribe to our flagship magazine, Missions Mosaic.
David Carey, a North American Mission Board–endorsed hospice chaplain in Maine, has a new role as bereavement coordinator. In this position, he works remotely from home and is responsible for ministry to the bereaved through three offices under Beacon Amedisys Hospice.
David asked for prayer that the Lord would give him favor with the management of the three offices as he collaborates with personnel to meet the needs of those who are walking through bereavement.
He also asked for prayer that he and his wife, Cheryl, would continue to receive guidance in both protecting and advocating for their twin sons, Jaxson and Seth, who are autistic.
