Begin Anew CWJC WorldCrafts

Celebrating 25 Years of Transformed Lives

It is thrilling to celebrate how our Father has had three WMU Compassion Ministries—Christian Women’s Job Corps (CWJC); Pure Water, Pure Love (PWPL); and WorldCrafts—to make an eternal impact on the lives of countless individuals in the last 25 years.

CWJC launched its first pilot site in 1996. Today CWJC equips women, in a Christian context, for life and employment at nearly 200 registered and certified sites across the nation. Thousands of women each year gain hope for their future.

PWPL came to national WMU from the Brotherhood Commission in 1996. PWPL has a threefold mission: to supply missionaries with water filters, to provide the people missionaries serve with wells that offer clean water, and to supply missions teams with water filters for use on short-term mission trips. Through PWPL, communities and individuals are gaining access to clean water resources and hearing about the Father, who is the Living Water.

WorldCrafts began thanks to the work of a woman living in Thailand in 1996. WorldCrafts develops sustainable, fair-trade businesses among impoverished people around the world. WorldCrafts’ vision is to offer an income with dignity and the hope of everlasting life to every person on earth. Today WorldCrafts works with more than 40 artisan groups in more than 20 countries around the world.

These ministries work together to make an even greater impact in many places around the world. Many CWJC sites are also WorldCrafts artisan groups. All WorldCrafts artisan groups have the opportunity to apply for funds for water needs through PWPL. It is a joy to see how our Father continues to use these ministries to meet tangible needs and show His love.
