Missions discipleship is for everyone — from preschoolers to adults. WMU provides resources for all ages designed to help you make disciples of Jesus who live on mission.
We invite you to discover an active, authentic faith through our biblically-sound learning opportunities and meaningful missions experiences.
PRESCHOOL
Preschool is an exciting time in children’s lives, where they rapidly grow to understand the world around them. It’s during this time that they develop a spiritual understanding about Who God is and how they play a part in His plan for the world. That’s why we created Mission Friends — to provide the building blocks of faith to preschoolers and raise a basic awareness of God’s love for all people.
CHILDREN
Children love to share God’s love. And children love to learn by doing. Through missions discipleship, children learn to share His love in multiple ways, from collecting school supplies for back-to-school backpacks to passing out water at sports events, from taking a meal to a homebound community member to sharing a smile or a prayer with someone who needs it.
STUDENTS
No longer children but not yet adults, teenagers are living through a unique and formative time of life. Missions discipleship for teens instills a strong biblical framework, awakens in them a passion for the gospel of Jesus Christ, and provides opportunities for students to live out their faith in a tangible way.
ADULTS
Missions discipleship empowers adults to become more effective witnesses in their world. When adults explore current missions efforts around the world, delve into the biblical mandate for missions, and become personally involved, they clearly see their responsibility to take the gospel to the nations.
CHURCHWIDE
Missions discipleship in the church provides opportunities for everyone—preschoolers through adults—to be involved in missions. Churches who provide missions discipleship encourage people to grow in their faith as they learn about missions, pray for missions, support missions, and do missions.
FAMILIES ON MISSION
As committed Christ followers, we can use our influence to make a positive impact on the Kingdom during this crisis. Christ will do the miraculous in our midst if we allow Him to use us for His glory. Here are some great resources for you at home or your church to distribute to its members.

Missions discipleship in the church provides opportunities for all believers of every culture, race and language to participate in missions work. Churches that provide missions discipleship encourage members to grow in their faith as they learn about missions, pray for missions, support missions, and do missions.
