Get Started
WMU offers a vast array of resources including curriculum for age-level organizations, inspiring conferences, ministry ideas and models, volunteer opportunities, leadership training, books, and much more. Learn more about starting an age-level organization sponsored by WMU here.

Children
The children of today are the missions leaders of tomorrow; WMU encourages children to learn about God's love, become aware of the needs of others, learn the importance of prayer; and start doing missions themselves. Girls in Action is the organization for girls in grades 1-6; Children in Action is the organization for boys and girls in grades 1-6.

Adults
WMU offers opportunities for Christians to meet together for Bible study, witnessing, learning about world issues, and participating in missions projects. Through Women on Mission, the organization for women aged 18 and over; and Adults on Mission, for women and men, WMU offers Christians opportunities for fellowship, ministry, witness to others, and personal spiritual growth.

Preschoolers
It is never too young to learn about missions. Mission Friends, the WMU organization for children from birth to prefirst grade, helps young children begin to learn about God and His love, and about becoming one of God's "helpers" here on earth. Mission Friends builds a foundation for children to understand God's plan for their lives.

Students
Teenagers face many challenges today; WMU offers boys and girls who are not children-but not adults-the chance to grow spiritually, develop leadership skills, learn to witness, participate in missions projects, and explore issues that affect youth. Acteens is the WMU organization for girls aged 7-12; Youth on Mission is an organization for boys and girls.

Collegiate
College students are in a unique period of discovery about themselves and the world. More than any other age group, they have the time and ability to participate in hands-on missions experiences that make a difference in the world. Through www.missionsinterchange.com, WMU offers collegiate women a chance to learn more about missions and get involved in ministry projects and short-term missions trips at home and around the world.

Multicultural Resources
God's love is universal and transcends languages. WMU seeks to involve people whose native language is not English in mission study and ministry projects. WMU publishes a magazine in Spanish (Nuestra Tarea), and a Bible study series for those for whom English is a second language, and a plan book to promote missions education in language churches.

Church/Association WMU Leadership
Local church and associational WMU leaders provide the grassroots support for all of WMU's missions endeavors. The national WMU tries to provide resources and support for these vital leaders through personal contact, print items, and online resources.
