Baptist Women’s World Day of Prayer

Every year on or near the first Monday in November, Baptist women in about 130 countries gather to pray for one another. They use a program published by the Baptist World Alliance (BWA) Women’s Department, which is composed of 7 continental unions representing 229 national Baptist women’s organizations.

The Day of Prayer is for all Baptist women, not just those who are part of your women’s organization. What would appeal to most women in your church—breakfast, Saturday retreat, evening meeting? Let that determine your date, place, and time.

Have you ever taken a spiritual survey of your city? I’m not talking about going door to door with a pencil and paper to count how many Christians live in your area. Just drive around and look to see what’s there.
