Reading Cathy Dyer’s journal entries in Our Hardcore Battle Plan for Wives, it’s easy to feel you know her, to empathize with her, and to feel her shock and betrayal upon discovering her husband’s addiction to porn and subsequent affair. What makes her story unique, and the reason she wrote the book, is her account of the complete redemption of her marriage. Redemption is what God is all about, but it’s too rare in stories of marital heartbreak, even among believers.
