Can you turn on the faucet in your home and have a high expectation that the quality of the water that comes out will not be harmful to you, your family, or your guests? If you can, then you are more fortunate than many missionaries!

Since 1997 WMU^® has been meeting one of the most basic human needs of missionaries through Pure Water, Pure Love^SM. The goal of this ministry is to provide missionaries and the people they serve with clean drinking water, free from disease-causing microorganisms, at no cost to them.

Anyone can be a part of Pure Water, Pure Love, through his or her donation to WMU.

Pure Water, Pure Love is . . .

A practical, tangible way WMU^® can funnel love and support to missionaries.
An ample supply of worry-free water in places where safe tap water is not available.
A physical expression of our Lord's "living water."

Individuals, families, missions groups, Bible study groups, etc. can all be a part of the ministry of Pure Water, Pure Love^SM.

Girls in Action^® Leading the Way

A Girls in Action group at Calvary Baptist Church in Wilmington, Ohio, turned their spare change into fresh water for missionaries. The girls reserved the money they usually spent on sodas for PWPL; the loose change from the offering plates went toward the girls' PWPL collection. A tabletop water dispenser was placed in the church foyer and used as a collection bank for members to place loose change and bills. In just over two years, the girls saved $1,000 to purchase water filters through PWPL!
