International InitiativesSM exists to address issues affecting women and children through international partnerships.
For many, the idea of an international mission trip is overwhelming. The goal is to move beyond our personal lives and circumstances to impact a new and different area for Christ. To this end, we seek to mobilize men and women for mission opportunities.We develop the ministry opportunities, provide training, and coordinate travel logistics. Our teams are made up of individuals from all over the country, as well as friends or groups who want to do a missions trip together. There is a place for you!

International Initiatives also provides individuals and groups with the opportunity to directly provide support to specific partnership projects such as Project MOST. For information on such opportunities, click here.

The WMU Foundation provides general support to all WMU ministries, including International Initiatives, through the WMU Vision Fund. Special ministry projects for International Initiatives are funded through grants from the International Initiatives Fund.
