Available Now: The Christ Followers Series

The "Christ Followers" series helps small groups within churches to increase biblical and missional understanding of their responsibility and opportunities for sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. Participants of all ages, from preschoolers to adults, gain a more thorough knowledge of the contemporary world while discovering how to develop a Christlike response to meeting human needs through missions. Christ Followers also explores what believers are doing to share the love of Christ around the world.

The Basis for "Christ Followers"

"Christ Followers" is based on the Book of Acts-specifically Acts 1:8-and provides an undated lesson plan (applicable to any time of year) that includes the following:

• A 52-week Bible study divided into four units of 13 sessions ($9.99 per unit).
• An integrated structure that includes discussion of the contemporary world, present-day missions, and missions involvement.
• Quarterly units of study adapted to the educational needs of all age ranges, including preschool, children, student/youth, and adults.

Biblical Content

Though it includes appropriate Old Testament Scriptures, "Christ Followers" emphasizes New Testament Scriptures that reinforce Acts 1:8.

"Christ Followers" addresses the following geographic areas and people groups:

Local, one's own community- Jerusalem
Beyond one's community- Judea
One's country/US/Canada- Samaria
All nations/all peoples- ends of the earth

In fact, all ages will study and learn from the same Scripture references each week.

Broad and generic, "Christ Followers" is applicable to all Baptists and features stories from missionaries, information about ministries and examples from additional sources.

The Bible study centers upon missions involvement for individuals and relevant ideas for ministry in today's world.
