myMISSIONfulfilled

myMISSIONSM is a WMU® missions organization for young women from collegiate age to women in their 30s. In myMISSION, they connect with a community of like-minded women who seek hands-on experiences in missions. They will delve more deeply into the biblical basis of missions and be able to dialogue about what they are learning.

Student Missions

Missions is all about joy. When you break it down, missions can be about praying, learning, giving money, doing ministry, and witnessing; but it starts with the joy of Christ’s presence in a person’s life. Missions is what a believer does in keeping with the commission of our sovereign Lord to bring all people to Christ and to glorify God. God makes us to feel, see, care, and want to share the gift we’ve been given.

This month marks the beginning of a yearlong celebration of 125 years of faithful mission support and involvement through WMU®, but the work of WMU began long before the official organization was born. Women in the churches had been gathering for prayer, sharing missionary letters from overseas, and encouraging financial support for missions needs for many years.
