Looking for a simple way to present RAs to a church without a chapter? Looking for a great tool to explain RAs in your own church?
This section contains a list of missions projects and activities that boys can do with their RA group.
You can also encourage the boys to do them with their parents. Many of these activities can be done each year. Some should only be done every other year. A few should only be done once. As a leader, decide which missions projects and activities you and your group will consider.
During the month of August, children’s missions groups collect gifts for a select group of North American missionaries. The items are used to help these missionaries replenish ministry supplies, purchase items for ministry centers, and minister to people in their communities who need to hear about Jesus.
Help the children in your church get involved in Christmas in August® 2012:
Meet Me in the City is the 2012–2013 theme for Girls in Action, Royal Ambassadors, and Children in Action. Children will “travel” downtown, uptown, and around town to learn about urban missions.
Every year in August, children’s missions groups collect gifts for a select group of North American missionaries. These items help missionaries replenish ministry supplies, purchase items for ministry centers, and minister to people who need to hear about Jesus.
Does Christmas in August really make a difference? Yes, it does! Read testimonies from past Christmas in August recipients.
