2013 RA Orientation

Looking for a simple way to present RAs to a church without a chapter? Looking for a great tool to explain RAs in your own church?

RA Camps

Do your Royal Ambassadors like to hike, do crafts, and learn about missions? Do your RAs enjoy swimming, playing games, and studying the Bible? How about making new friends they’ll never forget?

If so, send them to RA missions camp in 2013!

RA Missions Projects and Activities

This section contains a list of missions projects and activities that boys can do with their RA group.

You can also encourage the boys to do them with their parents. Many of these activities can be done each year. Some should only be done every other year. A few should only be done once. As a leader, decide which missions projects and activities you and your group will consider.

Christmas in August 2012

During the month of August, children’s missions groups collect gifts for a select group of North American missionaries. The items are used to help these missionaries replenish ministry supplies, purchase items for ministry centers, and minister to people in their communities who need to hear about Jesus.

Help the children in your church get involved in Christmas in August® 2012:

Meet Me in the City

Meet Me in the City is the 2012–2013 theme for Girls in Action, Royal Ambassadors, and Children in Action. Children will “travel” downtown, uptown, and around town to learn about urban missions.

Christmas in August

Every year in August, children’s missions groups collect gifts for a select group of North American missionaries. These items help missionaries replenish ministry supplies, purchase items for ministry centers, and minister to people who need to hear about Jesus.

Does Christmas in August really make a difference? Yes, it does! Read testimonies from past Christmas in August recipients.

Based on your ideas, this new individual achievement plan for Girls in Action® replaces WorldVenturessm.

GA Journey helps girls in grades 1–6 reinforce and live out the missions concepts they learn during regular GA sessions. This optional plan provides opportunities for individual GAs to deepen their missions discipleship and strengthen their faith.

GAs Say

5.11.13

This month marks the beginning of a yearlong celebration of 125 years of faithful mission support and involvement through WMU®, but the work of WMU began long before the official organization was born. Women in the churches had been gathering for prayer, sharing missionary letters from overseas, and encouraging financial support for missions needs for many years.
