Great Resources for a Good Start

Before you know it, the church year will begin! To help you get the year to a good start, let’s make a list of the great resources available to you as a leader:

Blume: Brighter with Time

By now the girls you have prayed for, supported financially, and encouraged in so many ways are making their way back from Blume. As you can imagine, it will be hard for them to fully express the ways they were touched by God’s word there . . . nor will it be easy for them to completely understand how they will put into practice all that they heard or experienced there. They have changed in many ways, and some of those ways won’t be visible to you and me.

Enjoy the Fruits of Their Labor

Have you ever tasted a piece of chocolate that was heavenly? Or felt the juice of a summer sun-ripened tomato run down your chin? Or enjoyed a clean room in a hotel made up by someone you never saw? Or marveled at the beauty of the landscaped hillside?

Your Part in Blume

Over the next few days, Acteens® from around the country will gather in Orlando, Florida, at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort to participate in BlumeSM. This life-changing event, started as the National Acteens Convention (NAC) in 1972, has positively influenced four decades of young women as missions leaders and advocates.

Men, women, senior adults, and teenagers alike are in the trenches daily fighting the addictive nature of pornography. It has been called the bubonic plague of the twenty-first century, silently killing men, women, families, and marriages!
