Ten pieces of candy were more than enough!

Every bag had ten pieces of chocolate candy. I made at least 20 bags. I knew there would be at least that many children for the children’s sermon on Sunday morning.

We Are a Resurrection People

Yesterday was Palm Sunday. I love this particular day in our church. The children came in waving palm branches as the service started and their sweet voices joined those in the congregation as we celebrated the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem. It is a day in which the community of faith, called the church, gathers to celebrate the arrival of the Messiah.

Real Life, Earth Life

Good Friday and Earth Day both fall on April 22 this year. Both are reminders of new beginnings and new life. The Project HELP: Human Exploitation issue of exploiting natural resources for personal gain also comes to mind.
